Does this have to be played with a gamepad? I'm really interested in trying this out, but I can't select anything from the main menu. I've tried every key on my keyboard.

EDIT: The developer was very prompt in responding to my issue, and it has been fixed. The game is now playable. Hooooh boy... This is phenomenal, man. The art, atmosphere, everything just falls into place perfectly. Genuinely fantastic first impressions.

Not bad!!! It's actually pretty easy listening despite the harsh sounds. Not an easy feat to pull off! I'd say adding some breaks would elevate the track to being a party starter. As it is, it's a great loop that's unobtrusive, but provides enough interesting elements to someone who listens closely. Could work very well in a videogame as menu music or something!

This reminds me a LOT of Akira Yamaoka's work for Silent Hill. I really like how uneasy the pattern of the time signature is; it adds a lot to the liminal feeling. Dance With Night Wind absolutely bleeds through a tremendous amount; perhaps a bit more than I'd prefer from an original creation. I think using different instrumentation for your drum rolls might help a bit with creating a stronger original identity that differentiates it from SH3's OST. I can't fault you for it, though, I absolutely LOVE the SH OSTs. So a bonus half point for competent recreation, haha
